At Alpenglow Aviation, we offer personalized flight instruction out of Carson City Airport, with a focus on safe, confidence-building training in the unique and beautiful airspace of Northern Nevada.

Flying has fascinated me since I was a kid. After years of training throughout Elko, Reno, Carson, and Minden, I’ve come to appreciate how this region, with its high density altitudes, variable terrain, and over 300 days of sunshine a year, makes for some of the best training grounds in the country. I’ve earned my CFI, AGI, and IGI certifications here, and I now teach in Cessna 172s, 182s, and Piper aircraft.
