A little about me

Hi! My name is Joe McGinnis and I am an Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI), Instrument Ground Instructor (IGI), and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)

I’ve been fascinated by flight for as long as I can remember.

I still vividly recall the first time a Boeing 757 flew low over my house while I was playing outside as a kid, it felt like magic. My dad took me to the EAA AirVenture show in Oshkosh when I was a kid, and that only sealed the deal.

As soon as I got my driver’s license, the very first place I drove was Rainbow Airport in Franklin, WI for my first discovery flight and my passion for being in the air hasn’t dimmed since.

Like a lot of people, I was talked out of pursuing aviation when I was younger. Looking back, I realize how much of a difference the right mentor could have made.

That’s why I do what I do now: to be the kind of guide I wish I’d had. Someone who helps you believe it’s possible, and shows you the path to get there.
